Thrass-Institute

The THRASS Institute provides teachers with the tools, strategies and subject knowledge required to explicitly teach the phonographic code of English as required by ACARA.

The THRASS Specific Pedagogy and accompanying THRASS Charts have been highly effective (world-wide) in schools and learning institutions since 1998 and are the most widely used and recognised teacher reference tools for teaching the phonographic code and orthography of English.

THRASS training empowers teachers to confidently cater for multi-level classrooms and support ESL learners and students with Dyslexia or other Specific Learning Difficulties. It provides a cost effective whole-school literacy model that is sustainable from foundation onwards, supported by a comprehensive suite of print and digital resources.
